Nell is a self taught photographer who resides on the the South Coast of Western Australia.

She finds her inspiration everywhere, especially in her own garden & her ever growing collection of unique vases.

Nell builds up layers in her camera without digital enhancement, which makes her work instinctive and immersive with the final image having a painterly quality. Her artistic approach can be challenging & unpredictable but with exciting results.

Nells playful artistry conveys an emotional interpretation rather than a literal representation of a scene.

She is continually challenging herself & seeking to understand what it is to be a photographer in the 21st century.
