Known to many as the Milliner on the Move, I create bespoke millinery from my studio in Broome, Western Australia, for women across rural, regional and remote Australia.
For more than two decades, I've been designing and creating one-of-a-kind headwear inspired by the landscapes, colours and stories of the places I travel. From the Kimberley to Arnhem Land, from remote cattle stations to city runways, every collection begins with a story and every piece is designed to help the wearer feel confident, special and entirely themselves.
I work one-on-one with clients throughout Australia, creating millinery for race days, weddings, special events and milestone occasions. Consultations can take place in person or online, making bespoke millinery accessible no matter where you live.
My millinery journey began on remote cattle and sheep stations, altering hats for local race meetings, before growing into the business now known as Hats by Felicity. Since formally launching in 2007, my work has appeared on the runways of New York Fashion Week, been selected for London Hat Week, and most recently represented Western Australia at the Regional Showcase in Parliament House, Canberra.
Beyond the studio, I share stories through Milliner on the Move, documenting the people, places and adventures that inspire my creations. Every hat carries a little piece of that journey.
At its heart, Hats by Felicity is about creativity, connection and celebrating the women who proudly call rural, regional and remote Australia home.
